Medication will be prescribed as appropriate, and on the day of your procedure an anesthetic cream will be applied to treatment areas for your comfort. Some pain is normal after the numbness wears off, and it is recommended that you do not drive yourself home. You will have the most pain in the first 24 to 48 hours after this procedure.
